LATROBE, Pa. - Jan. 22, 2020 - The Cougars (11-4, 4-3) were back on the road as they traveled to Saint Vincent (11-5, 7-0) to take on the Bearcats on Wednesday, January 22nd. Chatham was riding a four game winning streak into the matchup, most recently taking down Valley Forge by a score of 73-45.

Things started slow for the Cougars as they trailed the Bearcats by ten, after six minutes had gone by in the opening quarter. Chatham went into the second trailing the Bearcats 19-11, after first year Riley D'Angelo connected on a three to cut the lead to eight.

The Bearcats continued to dominate into the second quarter, going up as many as 14 points in the second. Chatham would pull within six after going on a 7-0 run making the score 29-23. They would cut the deficit to as few as four points with two minutes to play until the half with the score sitting at 31-27. As the final seconds ticked off the clock, sophomore Katie Fertig scored a layup before the buzzer sounded to make the score 33-29 at halftime.

Things got close in the third as Chatham would get within one point of the Bearcats after D'Angelo would make another three. Saint Vincent would respond as they would start to pull away after Erin Giancola's jumper made the score 47-38.

Chatham was unable to make a comeback, as Saint Vincent would come out on top 62-52. This would give the Cougars their fourth conference loss of the season, making their record in the PAC an even 4-4.

Grad student Emily Ondo led the Cougars with 19 points and gathered 12 rebounds for her second straight double double. D'Angelo added 13 and Fertig scored 11 of her own.
