HUNTINGDON, Pa. - January 11th, 2020 - The Chatham University swim team traveled to Juniata College. The Cougars kicked off 2020 with a109-80 victory over the Eagles.
Four individuals swam to first place this afternoon.
Charity Fannie won the 800 meter freestyle.
Carlee Shreve won the 200 meter freestyle and the 400 meter freestyle.
Emma Louie touched in first in the 50 meter freestyle as well as the 100 meter freestyle.
Mallory Marzolf claimed first place in the 200 meter IM and the 200 meter backstroke. Marzolf, Fannie, Shreve and Louie combined for a win in the 400 meter freestyle relay.
Other notable performances were
Faith Fannie's second place in the 200 meter butterfly and Faith,
Molly Hunter,
Noelle Dagdagan and
Paige Garase's second place finish in the 400 meter medley relay.
The Cougars are back in the pool January 17th at Saint Vincent.
