Cougars take the field for the first time

ERIE, PA. – Aug. 31, 2019 – The Chatham University men's soccer team took the field for the first time this afternoon at Penn State Behrend. The Cougars faced Baldwin Wallace in the first round of the tournament. 

HISTORY IS MADE
Junior Ren Matsushita scored the first-ever goal for Chatham at 47:04. Matsushita headed the ball in off a cross from first-year Ryan Tahbaz, giving Tahbaz Chatham's first-ever assist. First-year Wyatt Cory was in the net for the Cougars, recording seven saves. 

ON TO THE NEXT ONE
Tomorrow the Cougars will face the Alfred Saxons to wrap up the weekend tournament at 12:30 pm.
