PITTSBURGH, Pa. – April 18th, 2019 – The Chatham University softball team lost both to Grove Ciry in a PAC double-header matchup. Game one resulted in a sweep 8-0 and game two they also lost 8-4.
RECORDS: Chatham now stands at 9-19 (3-9 PAC) while the Wolverines stand at 13-12 (7-7 PAC).
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars face Thiel at West Field Saturday, April 20th in a PAC double-header matchup starting at 1:00 p.m.
GAME ONE (Grove City 8, Chatham 0)
AT THE PLATE: The Cougars tallied three hits. Howell, Swedberg and first-year
Fiona Danahy each had one hit for the Cougars.
IN THE CIRCLE: Julie Swedberg tossed 5.2 innings, scattering seven hits and striking out two.
GAME TWO (Grove City 8, Chatham 4)
AT THE PLATE: The Cougar offense enjoyed nine hits. First-year
Alyson Adams went 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring one run.
Marissa Wightman went 2-for-4 at the plate, scoring one run.

Cassandra Gray had two RBIs for the Cougars.
IN THE CIRCLE: Madison Howell pitched 5.2 innings, striking out five and scattering nine hits.
