CRESSON, PA – March 24, 2019 – The Chatham University softball team dropped a doubleheader at Mount Aloysius, falling 5-4 in game one before losing 6-5 in game two. The Cougars led both games until the bottom of the sixth.
RECORDS: Chatham now stands at 3-9 while the Mounties improve to 12-3. Last season, Mount Aloysius won the AMCC Championship Tournament.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Cougars hosts Pitt Greensburg tomorrow for a non-conference doubleheader starting at 3:30 pm at West Field.
GAME ONE (Mount Aloysius 5, Chatham 4)
AT THE PLATE: The Cougar offense enjoyed ten hits as first-year
Alexis Butler went 3-for-4 and junior
Marissa Wightman finished 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run.

Madison Howell and Allyson Adams all drove in one run.

Caitlin Worwood recorded two RBI and one hit.
Worwood, Butler, Howell and Wightman each picked up a double.
