Chatham kicks off PAC action with an 8-3 loss to Saint Vincent

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – March 23, 2019 – The Chatham University baseball team kicked off PAC play tonight versus Saint Vincent. The Cougars fell to the Bearcats 8-3.  
 
RECORDS: Chatham now sits at 3-8 overall, 0-1 PAC while Saint Vincent improves to 8-3 overall, 1-0 PAC. 

UP NEXT: Chatham travels to Saint Vincent tomorrow to round out the PAC series. 
 
AT THE PLATE: The Cougars earned four hits tonight. Caleb Lehman went 1-for-2 at the plate, with two runs. Austin Andionisio, Michael Nizinski and Tanner Klein each recorded one hit. 
 
ON THE MOUND: Adam Cerar took the loss for the Cougars, pitching 6.2 innings. Jake Sweeney came in relief for 2.1 innings, striking out three.
