Chatham swept by Saint Vincent

LATROBE, PA - March 24, 2019 – The Chatham University baseball team was swept in Sunday's doubleheader at Saint Vincent, dropping the first game 3-0 and the next 20-3.
 
RECORDS: The Cougars are now 3-10 overall while the Bearcats move to 10-3 on the year.
 
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham is scheduled to take on Point Park on Tuesday, March 26 in a DH starting at 1 pm.
 
GAME ONE (Saint Vincent 3, Chatham 0)
 
AT THE PLATE: The Cougars collected seven hits this afternoon.
 
First-year Caleb Lehman and junior Justin Silvious went 2-for-3 at the plate. Senior Paul Nussbaum picked up two hits as well. 
 
ON THE MOUND: Junior right-hander Connor Paul recorded the loss for the Cougars. Paul pitched all six innings, striking out four. 

GAME TWO (Saint Vincent 20, Chatham 3)
 
AT THE PLATE: First-year Michael Nizinski went 2-for-4, picking up an RBI and scored a run as Chatham managed seven hits.
 
ON THE MOUND: Four players pitched for the Cougars as Andionisio was tagged with the loss.
