PITTSBURGH, Pa. – FEBRUARY 9th, 2019 – The Chatham University men's basketball team took down Geneva this afternoon 75-71. With the win, Chatham improves to 15-8 overall and 9-6 PAC. Geneva falls to 8-15 overall and 5-9 PAC. Today was also senior day as Chatham recognized the eight graduating seniors.
Senior
Isaiah Brown scored a game-high 21 points. Brown added five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Senior
Alex Schoppen hit four three-pointers and four free throw shots. Senior
Buzz Walker put up 12 points and five rebounds, going four-of-seven from beyond the arc. Senior
Anthony Bomar chipped in ten assists, seven points and six rebounds. Senior
Marc Wells recorded seven points, five rebounds and four blocks.
The Cougars shot 46% from the field and 40% from beyond the arc. The bench added 19 points. The largest lead came with three minutes left in the game when the Cougars were up eight points. The game saw six lead changes and four tied scores.
