Chatham tops Medaille 19-7

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – FEBRUARY 27th, 2019 – Chatham took down the Medaille Mavericks 19-7. 
 
THE SHORT STORY
The first quarter saw seven Chatham goals and one Medaille goal. The Cougars netted five goals in the second quarter, answered by two Maverick goals. The third quarter was closer matched seeing three Chatham goals and two Medaille goals. In the final ten minutes, Chatham would notch four more goals, allowing just two Medaille goals. 
 
KEY COUGARS
Alec Vissotski went 17-for-20 in the face-off X. Vissotski added eleven ground balls. Kyle Rullan, Will Petraglia and Robert Hedlund each picked up three goals in tonight's victory. Rullan added three assists and three ground balls. Petraglia chipped in one assist. Hedlund notched two assists. Jake Brown recorded two goals and two assists. Kyle Prewitt and Anthony Galioto each scored two goals for the Cougars. Adam Bleess registered two goals and two assists. Michael Porreca and Tyler Hayes both added one goal and one assist apiece. Quentin Clark grabbed five ground balls. Cameron Smith chipped in four ground balls. Ryan Dobson led the team with two caused turnovers. Shane Gaglione started in net, recording one save with one goal against. Gregory Hensley was in the net for the second quarter, registering five saves and two goals against. Cameron Smith would finish the game in net, picking up ten saves with four goals against.

The Cougars head to Texas for two non-conference games. March 3rd, Chatham will play the University of Dallas followed by a March 6th game at Southwestern.
