GREENSBURG, Pa. - Dec 31, 2019 - The Cougars (7-4, 2-1) were back on the court Tuesday, December 31
st for a New Year's Eve showdown against the Bobcats of the University of Pittsburgh at Greenburg (7-2, 5-1). The Cougars were coming off two straight loses, most recently falling to the Tartans of Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday, December 21
st.

The Bobcats were the first ones to strike, as they started the game on an 11-0 run three minutes into the first half. Chatham pulled within 7 after a layup by first year
Elijah Sutton to make the score 22-15. Pitt Greensburg would close the half out on a 7-0 run to go into the break ahead of the Cougars 44-31.

Chatham would open up the second half with a three pointer by sophomore
Ray Sandherr to make the score 44-34. They would stay within ten points of the Bobcats for part of the half, but Pitt Greensburg would extend the lead to as many as 20 with 6 minutes to go in the game. The Cougars would ultimately fall to the Bobcats 90-72 to put their season record at 7-5.

Marcos Cintron and Sutton would lead the Cougars in scoring with 16 points each, while junior
Malik Potter added 15 points of his own.
The Cougars are back in action Saturday, January 4
th as they travel to take on the Wolverines of Grove City in a Conference matchup.
