FREDONIA, NY – Dec. 14, 2019 – The Cougars secured the 4-3 victory over Fredonia in a non-conference matchup Saturday afternoon.
RECORDS: With the win, Chatham improves to 2-11-0 overall while Fredonia falls to 2-7-3 overall.

SCORING SUMMARY: Fredonia scored the first goal of the matchup.
Chatham answered back and scored seven minutes later, tying the game 1-1 thanks to
Kenny Gill assisted by
Jake Reed and
Eric Hildebrand.
Forty-five seconds later, Chatham scored increasing their lead over Fredonia 2-1 thanks to
Matt Mood with assists from
Michael Thamert and
Jason Bauer.
Ten minutes into the second period, the Blue Devils scored tying the game 2-2 heading into the third period.
Eleven minutes into the third period, Chatham scored thanks to
Tristan Hillebert with assists from
Michael Lamison and
Andrew Warhoftig.
The Blue Devils answered minutes later, tying the game 3-3.
With less than a minute to go in regulation, Chatham scored securing the 4-3 victory over Fredonia thanks to Hillebert with an assist from Lamison.
GOALTENDING: Ricardo Gonzalez secured the victory tonight for the Cougars. Gonzalez recorded 41 saves, including 22 in the second period.
SHOTS LEADER: Lamison and Hillebert led the Cougar attack with four shots on goal each.
FACE-OFFS: Hillebert won a team best nine face-offs. Bauer won seven draws in the circle.
