Chatham women's soccer (6-6-4, 3-2-2) faced off against the Bison (1-14-1, 1-6) of Bethany College in a home match at Ellis Field on Saturday, November 2nd. The Cougars were coming off a road victory against Thiel on Tuesday, October 29th by a final score of 4-2.
The Cougars started things off on the right foot with a goal by junior Genna Zeswitz early in the match, putting them ahead 1-0. Chatham would go on to score three more goals in the first half to put themselves on top 4-0 heading into halftime. Seniors' Emily Nolan, Morgan Bryant and Victoria Vernail would be credited with the three other goals.
Chatham continued to dominant the match, as they would score four more goals in the second half. The Cougars would come out victorious on senior day by a final score of 8-1. First Years' Greta Mort and Maggie Toomey would score a goal each in the second half, and Vernail would add two more goals herself, giving her a hat trick for the day.
