NOV. 16, 2019 - Chatham (1-2, 0-0) faced off against Cazenovia College (0-0) on Saturday, November 16th in the second day of the weekend tournament at Hilbert College. The Cougars lost the previous night to the tournament host in a close game 83-78.

Chatham opened the game up with an 11-2 run four minutes into the half. The Cougars would hold the lead over the Wildcats for much of the first half, going up as many as 12 points. First year Brandon Lavernia led the Cougars with 15 first half points on 5-10 shooting, as Chatham would go into the half ahead of Cazenovia 47-30.

The Cougars wouldn't let up, as they held the lead over the Wildcats for most of the second half. Cazenovia would cut the lead to nine with 11 minutes to go in the game. Chatham would cruise to victory as they would take down the Wildcats 92-65.

First year Garrett Farrah led the Cougars in scoring with 19 points on 7-13 shooting. As a team, the Cougars shot 43% from beyond the arc for the game, connecting on 15 of their 35 tries.

Chatham makes their way back to the den Wednesday, November 20th at 7 PM as they will take on city rival Carlow University.
