Chatham got on a roll fast, as they went ahead of the Barons 8-1 three minutes into the first quarter. The Barons would pull within five with just about a minute to go in the quarter, but the Cougars would respond and end the quarter on top 17-9.
The Cougars would continue to hold the lead over Franciscan for the entirety of the second quarter. Fifth year senior Emily Ondo would score five of her team high 23 points in the second quarter, as the Cougars would go into halftime beating the Barons 33-21.
Chatham would go up by as much as 20 points in the third quarter, as they would go into the fourth and final quarter by a score of 56-40. Sophomore Katie Fertig had two of her five threes in the third quarter, finishing the quarter with eight points. The Cougars would never give up the lead, as they would top the Barons 74-47.
The Cougars are at the den Wednesday, November 13th in their home opener against Penn State Fayette.
