The Cougars (5-5-4, 2-1-2) faced off against Westminster (9-5-2, 4-0-1) in a home conference matchup at Ellis Field. Chatham came into the match looking to dethrone the conference leading Titans in a late season matchup.

Both teams played evenly in the first half, as it proved to be a defensive battle by both teams. The Titans outshot the Cougars in the first half 12 to 9, but the score would remain tied heading into the half 0-0.

Chatham would continue their strong defensive play into the second half, as the score would remain 0-0. Westminster would eventually sneak one past the Cougars defense and take the lead 1-0. Unable to respond, Chatham would fall by a final of 1-0.

The Cougars are back in action Tuesday, October 29th at 5 PM as they will head up to face Thiel College. They will finish their season at home against Bethany College on November 2nd at 12 PM.
