The Chatham men's soccer team (3-8-3, 0-4-2) faced off against conference opponent Westminster (8-5-2, 4-0-2) on October 22
nd in a home matchup. The Cougars came into this match looking to snap their three game losing streak against conference opponents.
The Cougars came out on the offensive, scoring the match's first goal in the 29
th minute of the opening half. Westminster would answer with a pair of goals themselves, and head into halftime with a 2-1 lead over the Cougars. First year
Emmet Taub notched the lone goal of the half for Chatham.
Westminster took over in the second half, as they would add two more goals to their total to make the score 4-1. Chatham fought valiantly the entire half, but were unable to mount a comeback as they would fall 4-1 to the Titans.
The Cougars are back on the pitch Tuesday, October 29
th in an away match against Thiel College. They will be back home at Ellis Field on Saturday, November 2
nd against Bethany College in their regular season finale.
