PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 12th, 2018 – The Chatham Women's Swimming and Diving team hosted the Eagles of Juniata this afternoon, kicking off 2019. The Cougars defeated Juniata 150-100.

Chatham hosts Saint Vincent January 18th at 5 pm. This will be Chatham's Senior Meet. 

RELAYS
The Cougar quartet of Mallory Marzolf, Iris Marzolf, Jade Marzolf and Meghan Harris won the 400 yard medley relay with a time of 4:22.09. Mallory Marzolf, Artalee Breegle, Faith Fannie and Jade Marzolf took first in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.32. Christine Mikita, Molly Hunter, Charity Fannie and Meghan Harris finished second with a time of 1:53.81. 

FREESTYLE
Christine Mikita took home the gold in the 1000 yard with a time of 11:14.59. Charity Fannie took third in the same race with a time of 12:07.57. Artalee Breegle swam to a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle touching in at 2:20.05 Paige Garase was close behind with a time of 2:20.12 and a third place finish. Gywyneth Curbishley wrapped things up for the Cougars with a four place finish time of 2:27.11. In the 50 yard freestyle, Iris Marzolf took first place with a time of 26.01, followed by Molly Hunter in second place with a time of 29.20. Hailey Lindsay finished fifth. Charity Fannie swam to a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 1:03.63. Paige Garase touched in at 1:04.28 for a third place finish. Gwyneth Curbishley placed fifth. In the 500 yard freestyle, Christine Mikita won with a time of 5:31.65. Jade Marzolf was second with a time of 5:47.64. Artalee Breegle placed fifth. 

BACKSTROKE
Meghan Harris clocked in at 1:12.25 for a second place finish in the 100 yard backstroke. Emilia Soriano and Hailey Lindsay swam in for a third and fourth place finish in the same race. In the 200 yard backstroke, Mallory Marzolf won with a time of 2:12.78. Meghan Harris and Emilia Soriano earned third and fourth. 

BREASTSTROKE
Mallory Marzolf won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:12.41. Iris Marzolf placed second with a time of 1:13.68. Iris Marzolf stopped the clock at 2:41.36 for a second place finish. Molly Hunter finished fourth with a time of 3:01.73. 

BUTTERFLY
Jade Marzolf touched the wall at 2:22.85 in the 200 yard butterfly for a second place finish. Faith Fannie and Maggie Susa earned third and fourth. Faith Fannie was the first Cougar to touch in with a time of 1:16.79 in the 100 yard butterfly for a second place finish.Charity Fannie and Maggie Susa earned third and fourth respectively. 

IM 
Faith Fannie finished third with a time of 2:36.64 in the 200 yard IM, followed by Paige Garase with a time of 2:46.21 and a third place finish.
