PITTSBURGH, PA. – Sept. 8, 2018 – The Chatham University women's soccer team fell 1-0 to the Gators of Allegheny College. Although the Cougars would outshoot the Gators 20-9, Allegheny would score the lone goal of the game.

Allegheny scored the game winning goal in the 17th minute.
COUGARS PUT ON THE PRESSURE
Chatham outshot Allegheny 20-9. Junior
Victoria Vernail led the team in shots with six, including four shots on frame.
Megan Sieg chipped in five shots. Nine of our thirteen field players recorded a shot in today's matchup. This is the third game in a row that the Cougars put up 20 shots.
BACKLINE STRONG
The Cougar defense held the Gators to just two shots on goal the entire 90 minutes.
