Julie Bruening scored the first goal in the 12th minute of regulation, while sophomore
Genevieve Zeswitz registered the game winning goal off an assist from first year
Morgan Anderson in the overtime thriller.
CHATHAM STRIKES FIRST
The Cougars found an early goal in the fifth minute when senior
Julie Bruening found the back of the net unassisted. Bruening totaled four shots, two shots on goal and one goal.
BACKLINE STRONG
The backline limited the Eagles to just six shots on goal and six corner kicks. In overtime, the defense did not allow a single Juniata shot.
COUGARS END OVERTIME
Sophomore
Genevieve Zeswitz earned the game winning goal just five minutes into overtime, assisted by first year
Morgan Anderson. Zeswitz recorded a team high of three shots on goal against the Eagles.
