Box Score WASHINGTON, Pa. – APRIL 7th, 2018 – The Cougars fell on the road to the Presidents of W&J.
THE SHORT STORY
At the end of the first quarter, W&J held a 2-1 edge. Chatham outscored the Presidents 6-5 heading into the half. The third quarter saw five unanswered W&J goals. The Cougars came out clawing in the final 15 minutes scoring five goals to the Presidents three. Chatham ultimately fell 15-12.
KEY COUGARS
Four Cougars would score at least two goals in today's loss.
Will Petraglia registered four goals, three assists and seven ground balls.
Adam Bleess recorded three goals and two ground balls.
Dillon Dugan tallied two goals, three assists and two ground balls.
Tyler Hayes finished with two goals and one assist.
Kyle Prewitt added one goal off one shot. In the face-off X,
Alec Vissotski went 16-for-29. Vissotski led the team with nine ground balls.
Ben Neal chipped in eight ground balls.
Matthew Ho earned five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Kyle Peterson registered 12 saves and four ground balls while in the net for 46 minutes.
