Chatham suffers 15-7 setback to Westminster

Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – APRIL 14th, 2018 – Chatham suffered a 15-7 setback to Westminster this afternoon.    
 
THE SHORT STORY
Westminster was first on the board scoring five unanswered goals in the first quarter. The Cougars would head into halftime down 7-1. In the third quarter, Chatham outscored Westminster 4-3. The fourth quarter saw five Titan goals and two Cougar goals. Chatham held a 25-20 ground ball advantage as well as going 15-for-25 in the faceoff X.
 
KEY COUGARS
Dillon Dugan scored a team high four goals. Will Petraglia earned two goals. Ben Neal registerd one goal, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. Matthew Ho registered nine ground balls going 4-for-5 in the faceoff X. Alec Vissotski picked up seven ground balls finishing 11-for-20 in the faceoff X. Bert Cham and Kyle Peterson split time in the net for the Cougars. Cham earned four saves and Peterson five.

Today's game is dedicated to the One Love Foundation. The One Love Foundation was created in 2010 to honor the memory of Yeardley Love. Yeardley was a University of Virginia senior who was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend just weeks before graduation. 
Today, One Love's ambitious goal is to end relationship violence by educating, empowering and activating young people in a movement for social change.  To achieve this, One Love develops creative technology-based tools and resources that meet young people where they are and inspire them to action.
