Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – MARCH 31st, 2018 – Chatham was dealt a loss by Hanover this afternoon falling 13-5.
THE SHORT STORY
Hanover was first on the board leading Chatham 2-0 at the end of the first quarter. The Cougars would attack first in the second quarter with a goal but the Panthers would respond with five goals of their own. Chatham started the second half with a goal in the first 15 seconds. The Cougars and Panthers would each score three goals in the third quarter. Chatham would score early in the fourth quarter, only to be outscored 3-1 by Hanover. The Cougars ultimately lost 13-5.
KEY COUGARS
Five Cougars would score a goal in today's loss.
Will Petraglia registered one goal and two ground balls.
Zachery Taylor scored one goal off of one shot as did
Kyle Prewitt.
Tyler Hayes finished with one goal and one assist.
Adam Bleess earned one goal.
Daniel Napier recorded two assists. In the faceoff X,
Alec Vissotski went 19-for-22. Vissotski earned a team high 14 ground balls along with two caused turnovers.
Matthew Ho picked up four ground balls.
Ben Neal tallied four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
Kyle Peterson was in the net for just over 41 minutes making nine saves.
Bert Cham recorded two saves in almost 19 minutes.
