Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – MARCH 21st, 2018 – Chatham opened up ORLC action against Saint Vincent where the Cougars fell 13-7 to the Bearcats.
THE SHORT STORY
The Cougars were quick to attack, scoring twice within the first four minutes. Chatham held off the Saint Vincent offense for the entire first quarter. The Bearcats would start off the second quarter with two goals of their own. After one goal from the Cougars, Saint Vincent would score seven unanswered goals. At the half, SVC led 8-3. The third quarter saw only one Bearcat goal. Chatham started the final 15 minutes with a goal. Saint Vincent and Chatham each finished with four more goals.
KEY COUGARS
Wesley Williams and
Dillon Dugan each registered two goals apiece.
Matthew Ho,
Kyle Prewitt and
Tyler Hayes found the back of the net once.
Alec Vissotski dominated the faceoff X going 18-for-24. Vissotski netted a team high 13 ground balls. Ho and
Ben Neal both recorded four ground balls.
Kyle Peterson was in the net 30 minutes for the Cougars. He recorded 10 saves with eight goals against.
Bert Cham played the second half for Chatham. Cham finished with five goals against and five saves.
