PITTSBURGH, Pa. – DECEMBER 31st, 2018 – The Chatham University men's basketball team defeated non-conference opponent Penn State Altoona 60-55 to wrap up 2018. With the win, the Cougars improve to 8-4 overall.
Senior
Nasir Alexander came off the bench to lead the team with 17 points, shooting 5-for-7 from the three point line. Senior
Isaiah Brown scored 15 points, with six rebounds and two assists. Brown scored his 1,000 point today at Penn State Altoona. Brown is the first Cougar in program history to score 1,000 points. Senior
Marc Wells grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds. Wells went 5-for-6 from the free throw line. Senior
Anthony Bomar picked up eight rebounds and six assists.
The two teams battled it out as the game saw 11 lead changes and eight tied scores. Chatham earned 11 points off of 14 Penn State Altoona turnovers.
