UTICA, NY. – Nov. 10, 2018 – The Chatham University women's hockey team was defeated 6-1 at Utica this afternoon.
RECORDS: The Cougars drop to 1-5 (1-3 UCHC) while the Pioneers improve to 6-0 (4-0 UCHC).
WHAT'S NEXT: Chatham hosts Wilkes on November 17th in an Alumni Appreciation game at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena.
SCORING SUMMARY: Utica scored early in the first period.
Jillian Rowland scored the lone goal for the Cougars at 10:07 in the first, thanks to an assist from
Kerry Carr. The Pioneers would score one more in the first twenty minutes.
The second period saw no goals on either side of the ice.
Utica scored four unanswered goals in the third period.
GOALTENDING: Katy Reed suffered the defeat, making 40 stops with six goals against.
