Sieg scores two in Chatham's victory over Waynesburg

WAYNESBURG, PA. – Oct. 16, 2018 – The Chatham University women's soccer team defeated the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets 2-1 this evening in PAC action. 

COUGARS ON THE ATTACK
Chatham outshot Waynesburg 27-10 including an impressive 18 shots on goal. Senior Katie Sieg led the team in shots on goal with four. Graduate student Megan Sieg and first-year Morgan Anderson registered three shots on goal. Senior Cassandra Small recorded two shots on goal. 

GOOOOOAL
Senior Katie Sieg scored the first goal for the Cougars in the 73rd minute. Sieg capitalized off of a corner kick from sophomore Kyla Kelley. Just two and a half minutes later Sieg connected with a pass from Anderson to find the back of the net again for the game winning goal. 

BACKLINE STRONG 
The Cougar defense only allowed four shots on goal in the 90 minutes.
