Box Score PITTSBURGH, Pa. – JANUARY 3rd, 2018 – The Chatham Cougars fell to the Yellow Jackets of Waynesburg 70-62.
KEY PLAYERS: Isaiah Brown finished with 15 points for a Chatham high. Brown added seven rebounds, six assists and one steal.
Logan Hunter chipped in ten points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal.
Alex Schoppen went 3-5 from beyond the arc for nine points.
Marc Wells and
Curtis Perz tallied six points each. Wells went 3-4 from the field.
Anthony Bomar recorded seven rebounds, four steals and three assists.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The game would see ten tied scores and eight lead changes throughout the 40 minutes. The Cougars would go into halftime up 33-29 to the Yellow Jackets. Once Waynesburg took the lead at 3:32 in the second half they wouldn't look back. In the first half, Chatham was shooting 52% from the field and 43% from beyond the arc.
