Box Score Greenville, Pa. (10/24/14) – The Chatham University volleyball team lost in President Athletic Conference play this evening on the road against the Tomcats of Thiel College.
Sophomore outside hitter
Heathir McIntyre (Ashburn, Va.) led the Cougars with four kills tonight. Junior libero Jessica "Hunter" Milroy (Doylestown, Pa.) earned three, while senior middle hitter
Aminata Dieng (Dakar, Senegal), first year setter
McKenna Gamble (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and first year outside hitter Ava Iullucci (Washington, Pa.) each earned one.
McIntyre and Iuliucci each earned one ace apiece for Chatham. Gamble also grabbed 8 assists against the Tomcats, while Dieng (Dakar, Senegal) recorded one.
Milroy accounted for 12 of Chatham's digs this evening, McIntyre nabbed 11, and Dieng six. Gamble netted four digs against Thiel, while first year middle hitter
Iman Morgan (Sharon, Pa.) accounted for five Cougar digs. Iuliucci helped her team with two digs, and sophomore defensive specialist
Joelle Notkin (Pittsburgh, Pa.) grabbed one.
The women's volleyball teams road play will continue against La Roche College on Monday October 27 at 7:00 p.m.
