ERIE, PA –
Melissa Puskar won three events as the Chatham University Swimming & Diving team defeated Penn State-Behrend on Friday, 125-97. The win marked the first dual meet victory this season for the Cougars.
Puskar won the 100 yd. freestyle in 59.83 and the 50 yd. free in 27.72. Along with
Alexis Rectenwald,
Hillary Lotz, and
Paige Carrigan, she was also a member of the winning 200 yd. freestyle relay team.
Lotz took first place in the 100 yd. backstroke in a time of 1:09.42, while
Theresa Schrider won the 100 yd. butterfly in 1:07.42. Chatham divers again fared well, taking the first two spots in both 1 and 3 meter dives.
Emily Hinson took first in each while
Alexis Rectenwald finished second.
