Daniel Follett, a Cranberry Township, PA native, enters his first season as the assistant coach of the men’s volleyball program in 2024-25 following two years as women's volleyball assistant coach.

Follett came to Chatham after spending the last four years as the Director of Athletics & Activities, at Slippery Rock Area School District. In addition to his administrative duties, he was also the inaugural head coach of the Slippery Rock Area Boys' Volleyball Team.

Prior to Slippery Rock, Follett held the role of Assistant Director of Athletics and Activities at Seneca Valley School District while also head coaching the Boys' Volleyball team. Follett would help 11 of his players continue their Volleyball careers into college.

After graduating from Juniata College, Follett took his experience to Mercer University's Women's Indoor and Sand Volleyball teams. In his own playing career, he was a three-year starter and four-year letterwinning outside hitter and libero. In his 2009 sophomore season, Follett helped the Eagles to the school's sixth Molten National Championship. Before being scouted to Juniata, he led Seneca Valley to a #1 PIAA ranking in 2007, becoming the All-Time School Leader in kills and points and finishing his high school career as a three-time 1st Team All-Section, two-time All-WPIAL, and 1st Team All-PIAA selectee.

Follett now resides in Cranberry, Pa. with his wife Sharayah and their dog Daisy.
