Dakoda Fickes joins the Cougar coaching staff with a diverse background in coaching, athlete development, and volleyball program leadership. Entering his 13th year of coaching, he serves as the Director of A-10 Girls Volleyball Club, where he oversees player development, coach education, and the overall direction of the club.

In addition to his role with A-10, Fickes serves as the assistant girls volleyball coach at Freeport Area High School and the head boys volleyball coach at Hempfield Area High School. Fickes is also the owner of Level Up Volleyball LLC, an organization dedicated to growing the game of volleyball through indoor and outdoor volleyball tournaments, leagues, and events. His commitment to expanding opportunities for athletes has helped establish Level Up Volleyball as a premier volleyball organization in the region.

In recognition of his contributions to the sport, Fickes was selected as an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Thirty Under 30 Award recipient, recognizing outstanding young coaches making an impact on the game. He is currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management from Grand Canyon University.
