Morgan Soulia was hired in the fall of 2025 as the head men's and women's swimming and diving coach at Chatham University.
In her first season with the Cougars, Coach Morgan led both the men's and women's teams to a sixth-place finish at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships.
The Cougars placed in the top eight in all ten men's and women's relay and recorded 12 individual top eight finishes, highlighted by Hannah Uhrinek's PAC Championship title in the women's 100 butterfly.
Morgan brings a strong competitive background and a proven commitment to athlete development. A 2015 graduate of North Allegheny High School, she was a four-time All-American, four-time Scholastic All-American, multi-time WPIAL and PIAA finalist, and held multiple team and pool records. She continued her swimming career at the University of Richmond, where she competed at the NCAA Division I level, captured the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship in the 200IM, and earned multiple individual and relay top eight finishes.
Prior to joining Chatham, Morgan gained coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, USA Club, summer league, Master's, and learn-to-swim levels. She has served in leadership roles with Pittsburgh Elite Aquatics, Chartiers Valley School District, Hershey Aquatic Club, Weinstein JCC, and Grown-Up Swimming, while also managing aquatic facilities and developing programming for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Her coaching philosophy emphasizes technical excellence, accountability, team culture, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.
