Kayla Platt

Kayla Platt is entering her first season as assistant coach for Chatham women’s lacrosse in 2022-2023.

Platt brings with her to Chatham a long coaching resume. From 2010-2013, Platt was the head JV coach and varsity assistant at Franklin Regional High School – winning a Division 1 WPIAL Section Championship in 2010. From 2013-2016, Platt was the assistant coach at Shaler Area High School, where they were Division 2 WPIAL Champions in 2014 and 2015. In the years 2017-2022, Platt was the head coach at Plum Borough High School, and in 2022, she was chosen as the Division AA Coach of the Year.

For the past decade, Kayla has worked at True Lacrosse Club, first as a coach from 2012-2019, and since then as the Pennsylvania State Director.

Graduating from Franklin Regional High School, Platt was a 4-year varsity letterman, a WPIAL First Team All Section selection in 2008 and 2009, and the 2008 and 2009 offensive player of the year. From 2009-2010, Platt played Division I at Robert Morris University.
