Chatham University Athletics

Ali Wessel is entering her first season as assistant coach for Chatham women’s lacrosse in 2022-2023.

Wessel spent the past year studying and playing lacrosse in England at Nottingham Trent University. During her year on the team, she helped her team win their division and the BUCS national championship in 2022, and finished the year with over 40 goals. As a scholar-athlete, Wessel graduated with a Master’s degree in management and business analytics.

From 2017-2021, Wessel attended Oberlin College. She graduated with majors in Economics and Politics and was nominated to the NCAC Academic Honor Roll from 2018-2021. She finished her career with 37 points (33 goals, 4 assists).

Wessel is also currently a girl’s coach with True Lacrosse Pittsburgh.
