Kara joined our coaching staff in January 2024. She will assume the role of Assistant Coach and will be responsible for all jumps and for leading the strength & conditioning for the Cross Country and Track & Field teams. She is currently pursuing her MBA from Chatham.Â
Before coming to Chatham, Kara received her BA in Sports Management from Wittenberg University. In her time at Wittenberg, she was a four-year member of the women's track & field team and competed in the long jump and triple jump. She was the team captain during her junior and senior year when the Tigers captured both the 2023 NCAC Indoor & Outdoor Conference Championship titles.
Throughout her senior year at Wittenberg, she held a year-long internship with the strength & conditioning department and worked with the football, women's volleyball, and men's and women's track & field teams. She is from Columbus, Ohio and began her track & field career in middle school.
