Ella played all 4 years while at Penn State during her undergrad, where she graduated with a RPTM major, business minor, sports studies minor, and event planning and management minor. She spent a summer in undergrad traveling across the United States with a variety of European coaches teaching hockey skills and goaltending. While at Penn State, she worked as an Off-Ice Official for the NCAA Men's Hockey team and as a student operations manager for the NCAA Men's Lacrosse team. Since graduating, she has been coaching at the Penguins practice rink for a variety of their programming, including: Goalie Academy, Pens Elite, and Private Lessons. She has also developed her own adult goalie programming at the rink. She is currently pursuing a master's in Sports Management with a focus in Business and Law from Georgetown University while still coaching.
