Declan Costello will be joining the Cougars staff for the upcoming season, serving as a volunteer assistant video coach. Costello was a member of the Bowling Green State University ACHA D2 Men's Hockey team. Aside from his time as a player, Costello spent 3 years working in hockey operations and video for the NCAA D1 Men's Hockey at his alma mater. He also made coaching stops as a coach in USA Hockey girls development camps and as a development coach for a youth hockey program in his home state of Ohio.Â
"I have been fortunate to work with Declan through USA hockey and BGSU hockey camps, and he is extremely smart and analytical in his view of hockey," said Head Women's Hockey Coach Mike O'Grady. "I am excited to have him as a resource for our staff."
