Marshall threw for Division III Carnegie Mellon University where he was a three-year varsity letter winner, team captain, and UAA Conference champion in the Men's Javelin. After completing his undergraduate degree, Marshall completed an internship as an Assistant Coach for Carnegie Mellon's Track and Field Program. Marshall currently works for SMS Group as a Technical Sales Engineer at their Pittsburgh Headquarters.
