Todd Hillman joined Chatham University as the new Diving Coach in 2025, bringing a proven record of success across NCAA, AAU, and Pennsylvania high school diving. Throughout his career, Coach Hillman has guided athletes to top-tier achievements, including multiple appearances at the PAC Conference Championship and a 1-meter conference title in his most recent collegiate season. He has also coached competitors at AAU Nationals, WPIAL Championships, and the PIAA State Finals.
Coach Hillman recently completed two historic seasons at Upper St. Clair High School, where he qualified the entire varsity team for the WPIAL Championship meet in back-to-back years. Under his leadership, divers set new school and pool records, culminating in a standout 6th-place finish at the PIAA State Finals by a sophomore athlete.
In the 2021–22 season, Hillman served as Head Diving Coach for the Pittsburgh Diving Club, developing athletes who advanced from WPIAL competition to the PIAA State Championships at Bucknell University. He also coached as a Diving Instructor for the Mylan Park Aquatic Center during the same year.
Previously, Coach Hillman led the Washington & Jefferson College diving program, where he and his athletes secured a 1-meter PAC Conference Championship, along with 6th-place (1-meter) and 3rd-place (3-meter) conference finishes. His success earned him PAC Coach of the Year, while his divers achieved honors including Diver of the Year and All-American First Team.
Coach Hillman is an alum of the Pittsburgh Aquatic Diving Club, where he trained under renowned coaches Julian and Doe Krug.
