2026: As a sophomore, Sturm played in one game, taking one at bat.

Prior to Chatham: Sturm attended Minnesota North College - Hibbing for one year. While there, he played in 32 games, startting 16. He ended the season with a .304 batting average, 31 hits, five doubles, one triple, 18 runs scored, seven RBI and went 7-9 on stolen base attempts.

High School: Sturm attended Newark High School. While there, he had a .304 career batting average and a .376 batting average as a senior.
