Chatham University Athletics

Chatham University announced that Frozen Pond Arena will be the home rink of the new men's hockey program beginning with their inaugural season in the fall of 2017. The rink is located minutes from Chatham's Eden Hall Campus in Richland, PA and approximately 35 minutes from Chatham's Shadyside Campus.

The Frozen Pond Arena amenities include: 200' x 85' arena dasher boards and glass, LED high efficiency/illumination lighting, new flooring throughout the arena, a new wireless LED scoreboard and a new arena public address and audio sound system. The Cougars will also have access to a soon-to-be built locker room for exclusive use by the team, which will include: player stalls, audio/video/Wi-Fi capabilities, a trainer's room, and a skate room with a sharpener and storage area. Plans for an off-ice training area and weight room are also in the works.
