PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Chatham men's soccer team was defeated in their opening match against Mount Union 3-0.
The Purple Raiders would score early and hold a 1-0 lead for much of the first half before adding another just before the break. Mount Union would add another late in the second half and the score would end 3-0.

Elijah Smith made 4 saves including a stop on a penalty kick late in the first half. Junior defender

Justin Knox recorded the 2 shots on goal for the Cougars.
Chatham men's soccer will be back in action this Saturday September 5th at 1:00 PM for a road trip to upstate New York to take on the Houghton Highlanders.
