Read more on Na'Auja's thoughts on Chatham and D3 athletics:
Why D3:
I have been cheerleading since I was 13 years old. And the sport has been a huge part of my life ever since. Through cheer, I've learned discipline, teamwork, and confidence. After high school, I knew I still wanted to be part of a team and continue developing my skills. Choosing a Division 3 program allows me to balance athletics with my academic goals while competing in a sport I love.
What do you enjoy most about D3 athletics:
I enjoy many things about being part of a D3 team, especially the leadership opportunities it provides. Becoming a captain has allowed me to grow as a leader and be a positive role model for my teammates. I also love the energy of game days, when we come together to support our school and perform as a team. Traveling with the team has created unforgettable memories and strengthened our bond. Being recognized as a Chatham cheerleader makes me proud to represent both my sport and my university.
