Men's Soccer Rolls Past Oberlin

PITTSBURGH, PA. - The Chatham men's soccer took care of business tonight against Oberlin as they defeated them in a 3-1 match up.

In what started as an even game between the two teams soon fell in the favor of the Cougars. In the first half, goalkeeper Maxwell Cottrill took care of business as he made three saves.

As the game carried into the second half, the Cougars wasted no time finding the back of the net. Justin Knoxs opened the scoring and then shortly after Bryce Grubic felt like adding a goal of his own.

Oberlin would find the back of the net on a penalty kick, and Chatham would return the penalty kick goal favor with one of their own. Emilio Herrara would be responsible for the third and final goal of the game for the Cougars.

The final score of 3-1 would allow the Cougars to fall back into the win column and have a high energy heading into their next game.

The Cougars will hit the road on Wednesday, September 10th when they head to Huntingdon, PA to play Juniata at 7:30PM.
