Men's Soccer Defeated by Hood

Frederick, MD - The Chatham men's soccer team experienced a tough 3-1 loss over Hood College this afternoon.

Hood earned their first goal early in the game with an unfortunate own goal from the Cougars. Their second goal would come only a few minutes later in the first half. The Cougars would go on to shut them out for the rest of the half.

It wouldn't take long into the second half for sophomore, midfielder Izeyah Romo to find the back of the net and make it a one goal game, 2-1. Hood would then close out the game with one final goal, for a final score of  3-1.

Chatham goalkeeper, Justin Teufel played the full 90 minutes recording five saves on the day, facing seven shots. In addition to his goal, Romo led the Cougars offense with three shots on goal.

The Cougars look to get revenge on their next opponent, Wabash College, and get back into the win column when they come back to UPMC Graham Field this Friday, September 5th for a 7PM kickoff.
