ALFRED, NY - The Chatham Women's Soccer team didn't open the season they way they had hoped for. 

The Saxons would take the lead in the first half and remain on top leaving the Cougars to battle back heading into the second half. 

The Cougars were unable to level the playing field, and the Saxons would instead add another goal to their tally. The final score of the game would be determined by those 2 goals as the Cougars were unable to find a way onto the board, and the game would be 2-0 in the Saxons' favor. 

The Cougars will be back in action and look to earn their first win in Alliance, OH when they take on Mount Union next Wednesday, September 3rd at 7PM.
