PITTSBURGH, Pa. - On Saturday, Cougars sophomore forward Klara Miuller took part in the IIHF D3 A tournament for her home country of Lithuania. Lithuania won the tournament marking the first gold medalist for the Cougars on an international stage.

In the five games Lithuania played, Miuller scored six goals and added six assists. She was second in total points, goals and assists for the entire tournament. She scored three goals and had two assists in Lithuania's 10-3 win over South Africa. In Lithuania's lone loss of the tournament, a 2-1 loss to Romania, Miuller tallied another assist. When Lithuania beat Serbia 3-0, she added another goal and assist. She had one goal and two assists when Lithuania took down Croatia 4-2. In Lithuania's final game, Miuller waited until the last second to impact the stat sheet scoring her final goal of the tournament, a game winner in overtime as Lithuania beat Thailand 2-1. After the tournament concluded she was named the top forward by the tournament directors.
