PITTSBURGH – Chatham Men's Volleyball (5-11, 2-6 PAC) took first-place Thiel (15-6, 8-0) to five sets on Wednesday at the Athletic and Fitness Center, but dropped the tiebreaking set and the match (22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 22-25, 15-5).

Kaleb Proudfoot had 16 kills for the Tomcats an .538 hitting and 4 blocks. Will Zimmerman and Ezra Oesterling both also had 16 kills for Thiel. Bryce Lizanich contributed 9 kills, 5 blocks and 10 digs. Eli Olszowka led the Tomcats with 39 assists, and Josh Hovan recorded a team high 11 digs. The teams were mostly even on the stat sheet, with Thiel holding a 64-60 edge in kills and a .259-.182 advantage in attack efficiency.

Logan Pack filled up the stat sheet for the Cougars, contributing a match high 20 kills on .321 hitting, 2 aces, 3 blocks, and 14 digs.
Benjamin Shelestak also put up a double-double for Chatham, recording 18 kills and 19 digs, which were tied for the 6
th-most for a PAC player this season.
Tim McCabe had 11 kills and blocked 5 Tomcat attacks. Rj Nagg dished out a match-high 53 assists, tied for the 6
th-most for a conference player this season.
Luke Hoolahan tallied 14 digs for the Cougars.
