ROCHESTER, N.Y. - On Saturday, the No. 4 Cougars (2-21-2) traveled to Rochester, N.Y. to take on the UCHC regular season champion Nazareth Golden Flyers. The Golden Flyers offense scored early and their defense left no holes the entire game as the Cougars felt 5-0 ending their season.

The Golden Flyers scored three goals in the first period and two more in the second period. The Cougars went the first 23 ½ minutes without a shot on goal as the Golden Flyer defense stifled the offensive attack of the Cougars.

Samantha Brophy was in goal for the Cougars, the junior made 58 saves on the day and ended with a save rate of 92.1%. Meanwhile the Cougars only managed four shots on goal and eight total shots, six in the second period. Defensively, Samantha Barrett and Ella Sheffer led the Cougars with four and three blocked shots.

The Cougars ended their season with a 2-21-2 record and were 0-13 against UCHC teams.
