WASHINGTON, Pa. – Chatham Women's Basketball (21-6, 17-3) suffered a 59-50 loss to the W&J Presidents (23-4, 18-2) in the PAC Final at Salvitti Family Gymnasium on Saturday. With the loss, the Cougars' season concludes.

W&J scored the first five points of the game in the opening 40 seconds before the Cougars responded with a layup from Nereu and a quick steal and layup from Brock to make it 5-4. Nereu then gave the Cougars the lead with another layup, but the Presidents responded with a triple to go back on top. The home side closed the first quarter with a 16-3 run to go up 24-11. The Presidents knocked down six three-pointers in the opening frame.

After Chatham got the opening basket of the second quarter from Brock, the Presidents put together another run of 7-0 to increase their lead to 31-13. However, the Cougars responded with a 10-2 run to close the half, which cut the lead to 33-23.

W&J opened the second half scoring with a layup, but Chatham stormed back with a 14-0 swing to take a 37-35 lead. Brock provided eight points on the run, while Chenault scored four.
